NOTE: A flight to Calgary from Sydney was cheaper combining a flight to Vancouver with JAL on www.travel.com.au  & an internal flight with West jet (Canadian Airline). And the very next trip to Calgary was cheaper combining a flight to LA with the Flight Centre then make a separate booking with Zuji from LA to Calgary.

 

The best price for a flight to New Zealand was directly through the airline Freedom Air. With the new price war between Aus & NZ it will pay to compare.

AIRLINES - If you are after comfort and service - go Air New Zealand, we love them. JAL also had great service but I found them a little squishy. Qantas has a superb safety record, great if you have a fear of flying.  West jet in Canada was a blast, a little unconventional but a lot of fun. And Freedom Air (NZ), no problems, we were told that they are a subsidiary of Air New Zealand??? For those of you who want to check or compare prices, (things can change) try the following.
